Nothing says "I love you mom" like a factory blemished tool from DTO
Opposite experience. Bought numerous items from them and pretty much all like new and working still. Had for years now.
You need to apply the code "MOTHERSDAY" during check out to get free shipping.

What conditions make an item qualify for the discount? Tried adding P223 SDS rotary hammer drill and only free shipping applied while the item price remained the same
The code is only for free shipping. The discount will be there already. Not everything is discounted.

While I've had fantastic luck with Ryobi tools, I did have a pole saw go south and a similar warranty issue. They wanted me to drive 65miles away to drop it off at some literal backyard "mechanic" out in the boonies. When I protested they pointed to the fine print that said my other option was to ship it AT MY EXPENSE to them AND pay return shipping. This was something I bought from Home Depot (they refused to touch it after 90-days). I ended up junking it because I don't have time to drive 130mi round trip twice for a $100 tool and shipping it (thanks to nonsensical consumer shipping rates) would have cost the same as the item itself due to the size and weight.

Thanks! Been waiting for a nice "Factory Blemished Ryobi" weed trimmer and cordless edger. Free shipping and one of the two tools are coming with a 4 AH battery? I am content! Thanks, OP!

Same experience. RYOBI warranties are crap, and non-existent from Direct Tools, but I bought a sprayer at Home Depot, paid regular price, and it was clogged right out of the box. Took it to a factory repair shop and RYOBI claimed I put something in it that I shouldn't have (the only thing I put in it was water) and would not honor the warranty. I got tired of arguing with them and just determined that was my last RYOBI tool purchase.

I got a battery from DTO and it stopped charging, RYOBI paid for the shipping back to them and they sent me a new one, so far anything from DTO has been good for me.

Picked up the Ryobi 18v multitool for $42 before tax. Best deal I've seen in the past couple months. Thanks OP.
