This was something I bought from Home Depot (they refused to touch it after 90-days). Same experience. RYOBI warranties are crap, and non-existent from Direct Tools, but I bought a sprayer at Home Depot, paid regular price, and it was clogged right out of the box. Took it to a factory repair shop and RYOBI claimed I put something in it that I shouldn't have (the only thing I put in it was water) and would not honor the warranty. I got tired of arguing with them and just determined that was my last RYOBI tool purchase.

I got a battery from DTO and it stopped charging, RYOBI paid for the shipping back to them and they sent me a new one, so far anything from DTO has been good for me.
