Just FYI, if you're paying full price or even half price, you'll usually get an offer if you go try to cancel your subscription. Whenever I've rejected the half off retention offer, I usually then get $4/month which I think is well worth it.
also, you can schedule pick ups ahead of time and pickup multiple cups in one trip. so if I plan on getting panera for lunch with someone, I'll order a cup at least 2 hours ahead for pickup at lunch time then order another cup when I get there.

I was scurred of the death lemonade from the start and always filled the cup with half ice. I can't believe Panera actually had the lemonades left out for self service with no skull and bones warnings with such high caffeine content.

Not sure if people were abusing it but this change happened around Jan or Feb of this year in the three locations nearest to me. Prior to that, yes, you walked in and grabbed a cup and got your drink. I always placed the order on the app beforehand in case I got stopped so I could show them my order confirmation, but I never did get asked.

Now mind you I signed up initially with a throw away preload $25 visa, even though I have apple pay on my phone and used it multiple times for the payment of food items. When my last free 3 months subscription ended 2 months ago it never used apple pay as my alternate payment to continue the sip club at normal price. Fortunately for me my Panera doesn't care if you even grab the cups for your drinks for yourself by the register, as I live in a small college town. Most people just bring their own tumblers for coffee @ mypanera who are in "the club"
