All of these are ports of the arcade version. This isn't a collection of remakes. These are straight ports.

Has there been any update on Switch 2s backward compatibility with digital downloads? I've heard folks mention previously that they're not buying digital until we find out backward compatibility

I just wish it was the original NES port for ghosts and goblins and not this trashy Zynga-style paperdoll animation. Just don't remake the game if you don't care how it looks or plays...

In fact, the literal original code of the arcade versions wrapped in an emulator (MAME, specifically).

To be fair, back in the day NES ports were occasionally better than the arcade versions, but usually because of gameplay differences rather than graphics/animation. Looking at you, Super Dodge Ball.
