"...even as a last-resort weapon of defense; Can even be used as an excellent alternative to a Tomahawk for sport and recreational throwing"

This is a good price. I probably paid more 10 years ago. Excellent camping shovel and fits behind my 2nd row truck seats.

I used to keep this in my trunk on my rear wheel drive car and it was pretty helpful. I gave it to someone stuck in a snowstorm when I got a new AWD SUV.

I feel like the equivalent can be had for around $10 at Walmart. Bought one for making sandcastles at the beach...beats the crappy plastic ones.

I have one of these and it's a seriously hefty chunk

I use mine primarily for Beach but definitely have heard of gun guys keeping them in their trucks for when they're out four-wheel driving in the desert

This is worth what you're paying for it. If you want a better entrenching tool, get one of the milsurp real tools. Or better yet if you odn't have to carry it on your back, one of these: https://www.nationalfirefighter.c...-Tool.aspx

Many courts will see even a baseball bat as a weapon, however, this has legitimate purpose in a car. Digging yourself out ofif tire is stuck. Dealing with snow. If it so happens you use it for self defense, well then... It was what was at hand.
