This is new. I have not seen Costco selling OpenBox items ever. Or is it something new started by Costco?
They sell open box or floor models, especially when discontinued items happen and about to place the next model out.
FYI i3 100u processor with 6 cores (2 performance cores and 4 threads), 12gb ram, 512gb ssd., USB c PD. not bad for a basic laptop for work/school, 12gb and SSD means you won't NEED any additional upgrades to use out of box. USB c PD is a nice touch rather than proprietary charger.
