If you are planning to port in your current active number from other providers to Lyca for this 12 months promotion, reconsider to port in.
YMMV- It will be very difficult to get the account no and PIN to port out from Lyca.
But how is their service ? I am currently with Mint on a $15/month plan. Is it worth it to jump to this one ? I am a bit concerned about the port-out issued ? Pls comment

Last time I signed up their promo but I could not terminate it. Supports told me there's no way to terminate, at least they didn't know. So I have to ask credit card company for help. It was not the worst pain because I didn't port my main number.

Not true. Provide the below info over email or phone call to their customer service and you'll get the account number and pin. They might take 24 hrs to respond over email
Your name, Lyca phone number, service address, registered date of birth, last recharge/plan amount and date, 3 or 5 most contacted numbers over text or call
Keep your sim card number, PUK code from the main Sim card handy or click a Pic of it.
Also, once you register, be sure to create a customer identification pin CIP
They don't have to make money off you, and may be willing to run a business that takes a manageable loss.
Of course, it also means they probably are not the most honest people and you should be somewhat more careful with your information sharing. A single use credit card number might be a good idea.

US mobile w/ verizon network service has been good, but this saves, like $2-3 per month.

The company appears to be a front for money laundering.

Sometimes you can get the best deals that way.
