Had a bad experience with Lenovo outlet. If your tax is high I'd recommend just getting a brand new one from B&H for $2k and using their PayBoo card that refunds your tax.

It's interesting that lenovo doesnt allow you to upgrade the warranty on the refurbished outlet laptops. I'd proceed w caution esp at this price pt

I talked to a different sales rep, and they told me the 1 year warranty on these certified refurbished could not have the warranty extended. The rep I spoke to this weekend told me they could, but... buyer beware.
