Acetaminophen — most commonly known as Tylenol — is one of the most frequently used pain relievers in the U.S. It's generally considered safe and, for many people, offers some advantages over aspirin and ibuprofen.
But when used at certain dosages or in combination with other medicines – it can raise the risk of liver damage and, in a small number of cases, lead to death.
Yesterday, an expert panel met to deal with those issues and made a series of recommendations to the Food and Drug Administration, including: reducing the highest single dose of acetaminophen sold over the counter to 325 milligrams; lowering the maximum daily dose that can be used safely to less than 4,000 milligrams; and a ban on the prescription painkillers Percocet and Vicodin.
100% rated Iraq vet, and still can't get them. So alas, I'm resorted to daily pain and as much Tylenol as possible. Is it bad for my liver? Probably. I smell like Lidocaine patches a mile away too.
I shouldn't suffer because of addicts. How many alcoholics are there? DUI homicides? Leave it up to the MD.
This is how not to give a nuanced, good advice on a few different levels.
They have wiggle room for the ingredients, so they may use a little less of something than the name brand. It's why generics work for some people and not others

There is also an assumption that the brand name will be better than the generic whereas there's a statistically significant chance that the generic could actually be better than the brand name.
Just like there are some grocery store brands that people might like better than their brand name equivalent.

Yeah silly doctors and modern medicine. Cook. Similiar to medicine , it doesn't work for everyone. Except at least most medicines have some tested statistical significance. I'm for a better diet but take that alternative medicine bs outa here the chances of that working for most people is even less.
You better be joking. These don't turn into poison or become inert if over date.. they lose slight affect but perfectly still fine to use...
