I've had this tablet for about 8 months now and no issues, took it in Dec for a month of travel (along with my steam deck) and watched local anime and movies on it during downtime. Screen is absolutely gorgeous. It works better with VLC & local media files on SD card, zero issues with 1080p content on that - haven't really tried too much streaming apps since I really only wanted for when I am offline.

Also works great as a comic reader and book reader, although I infinitely prefer my kindle paperwhite for just books, way smaller size thats far easier to hold.

Two accessories that I found must haves were a usb-c to headphone jack adapter (you can get one that also charges but I didn't need it) and a little folding holder that holds the tablet for me when I want to go hands free when watching a movie or whatever. I just bought a random cheap $15 chinese one on amazon and it worked fine.

I did have some of the taskbar issues in Dec when traveling but since a fairly recent update that seems to have gone away, I haven't "lost" my taskbar since then which used to happen frequently (go back into settings and turn taskbar on/off to fix it). No real complaints otherwise, I don't care about android updates its good enough as it is.

Screen is really the big seller here, gorgeous OLED screen that is almost as good as the recent AMOLED screens that Samsung uses, not sure how it compares to apple new OLEDs. For the price its really tough to beat especially since it comes with a microSD card, I put a 1TB card on it and dumped like 200 hours of movies, TV, anime, and comics onto it and its the perfect traveling companion. Insanely lightweight and thin too.

Lenovo and their eBay store price dropped to $224.99 just today (EDIT: use 10% off coupon TABEXTRA10 on lenovo.com , code not needed on eBay)

+15% CB from the site that should not be mentioned! Under $200 when all said and done!

They won't give CB automatically, so have to demand it via the "missing CB" form.

How do you get a $15 discount with id.me? Doesn't it only provide a 5% discount? I see the id.me discount as $11.25.
Ends up not being as cheap as the eBay price now that it dropped there. My id.me discount was $15.75 so maybe there are different tiers or they changed how it stacks

This or the lincplus T3? Tempted because of the OLED, dark scenes are pretty much unwatchable on the T3.

Hmm, according to the id.me page for Lenono (https://shop.id.me/stores/1486-lenovo-us), they give a 5% discount across the board for all the different job categories. Looks like you somehow got a 7% discount instead.

But with the current 15% cashback promo from another site, it makes it worth buying direct from Lenovo (instead of their ebay store) if the cashback comes thru.

Ended up ordering on eBay before waiting on the Lenovo's website cancellation. I bet I end up with two because they probably secretly want to wait till it ships so they don't have to cancel it, even though I cancelled a couple hours after placing the order.

Off track a bit here, but just gathering some opinions:

Do you think the Snapdragon Elite chips will enable Android tablets to catch up to iPads in adoption or is it really just a software issue at this point?

IMO software issues. Android devs seldom make tablet specific productivity apps. A

I don't like Lenovo's Android OS, but this price for this hardware spec is a good deal.

I have the 4gb model and mostly use it for media consumption. X, reddit, youtube, netflix, etc. Great OLED screen. Some people complain about greenish areas when you turn the screen down to 5% or below. I can see it on mine but it never bothers me. I also had it on a older samsung oled tablet. Speakers are loud and clear.
Took forever to get updated to Android 13, year longer than any other tablet that updated. Who knows if it will every be on Android 14 even though its supposed to get 12,13, and 14.
Does it have a headphone jack?

It does not, but you can buy a USB C to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter. Multiple designs exist, including some that can also charge your device while you listen to music.

I bit. Had my eye on this for a long time, but for this price it's worth it for a media tablet.

Mine.
- Can upgrade OS to Android 13
- DRM Info, security level L1, This is the highest level of protection, where media is decrypted and processed entirely in the Trusted Execution Environment (TEE)
- Youtube: support 4K60p
- Netflix: maximum FHD, not support 4K
- Great audio speakers, OLED screen
- Ext monitor: only support FHD@60Hz. How can force it support 4K60Hz?
- Double tap to active screen ==> Setting - Gesture and motions
- Some apps in full screen mode (for example: SmartTube) cannot hide the taskbar automatically. Have to hold the taskbar to hide it, but it still shows the bottom line.
