I've never heard of this brand tbh. But for the money I would recommend looking into VIOFO. I see sales on them from time to time.
That plus ppl getting the products for free to come with bias reviews makes harder to pick a decent dash cam

Admittedly I got this model from a local Amazon returns warehouse for $7 so I was going to like it no matter what, but I've been very satisfied with it. I know very little about dash cams so did no research, but it autorecords and deletes old footage as I'd expect and is mostly unobtrusive on the dash. Tons of easily hidden cable and all the tools you need to do so. Recording quality is great, license plates are easily readable. I'm a terrible person to ask for detailed info, just thought I'd share what I have.
I own it. I love it. Records very clearly, easy to transfer videos to iPhone via app, easy to setup, unsure what else to add. It works and it works well. I paid $150 on sept 18th 2023 off Amazon. Would purchase again without hesitation. Hope this is helpful.

I need some footage to be inserted into my 4K video creations. So 4K capacity is a must.

Thanks for the feedback! But for $7? It sounds like a price error.
Where do you go to buy returns from Amazon? If I have an Amazon warehouse in my city can I just go there? Or how does this work?
You need hard wiring for 12/48H Parking Monitor Mode only, it will be a bit tricky though.
