don't take my advice as am some sorta of expert, but current rating is dependent on distance, so this is 12/3 but rated at 15amps, which is typically max for appliances in home usage


there are many others that use 20amp, 30amps, 50amps, etc, but this seems like a solid option for 15amp stuff for home usage
