CostcoNext is basically like your how credit card companies will do a "15% off if you buy from XXXX using this link", but it is via costco. You get none of the benefits of buying from Costco directly such as return policy, extended warranty, bonus points on credit card. It is just a pre-arranged discount with a merchant.
For those wondering the Klymaloft line is not for backpacking (weight) but looks great for car camping/glamping.

Details: https://klymit.com/products/klyma...eeping-pad

Also available on Sierra.com regularly on sale for about $5-8 more than these prices for those without a Costco membership.

Sweet. Enjoy Klymit stuff. Ordered through Costco Next during Christmas and got the 2 person Cross Canyon tent with insulated double sleeping pad with 2 xl pillow. Would recommend everything especially if ordering through Costco Next. Those 4 items were 50% off the price directly from Klymit. Add on another 25% savings and I'd insta-buy everything again.

Picked up the Versa Blanket for $42 vs $100 directly from Klymit. Been eyeing that for a few months but figured I didn't need with summer. Another 25% off made me pull the trigger.

Same! I bought a 4p Cross Canyon on Black Friday and got an extra percentage off an already great deal. I paid just over $100 which was like 60% off or more. It's now a lot cheaper than when I bought it which makes it an even better deal. I highly recommend it. It's the only product I have from Klymit though, I may get an insulated sleeping pad this time around.

The two person 3 season tent with aluminum poles and full fly for under$70 at 5-6 pounds is not bad you'd be hard pressed to find something comparable

Yeah I was only really looking at the pads, but you're right. Not a bad price for the tents at all.

The Hudson's Bay blanket pack certainly steals credibility from the notion of this company making serious backpacking gear.

I got the three original static V sleeping pads (non-insulated) and a pillow about 10 years ago on woot. With a kid is scouts, they see use monthly. The pillow and two pads are in great shape. The valve on the third pad broke due to user error. When my son was younger, he inflated it while snacking. He blew food infused drool into it and ended up cementing it shut. He was unable to open it, and when I tried, I ended up breaking it. The pads are not as light as some of the higher end pads but the quality is there and are a fraction of the price. I ended up ordering two of the insulated pads w/ pillows so I can be a little more comfortable when we camp in the winter.

I use their Static V pad and at 24 ozs not the lightest, but certainly not what I consider heavy (I'm not an Ulta-lighter)

I've got the original static V as well. I was interested in the insulated version, but from what I've read online, with standard r-value testing (fairly new thing) the performance on the insulated ones aren't good. If you're needing that cold weather performance, I'd recommend you try them out in the backyard before you use them in the backwoods.

What's the difference between a $100-$300 dollar tent and a $500-$1000 dollar tent?
