Costco does not allow Costco giftcard purchases with a giftcard. I ran into this last year.

a lot of time on your hands? you forgot most credit cards like my Citi also gives 2% so that is another $5.75 or so for a total of around $18 and what time? 10 minutes maybe? i can spend them fast and for $18 i see free money

Use or convert them to amazon or whatever as soon as possible. I went in on one of these deals a year or two ago, and when I decided I want to use it on something, found out my card was drained on random Steam/CoD purchases. Luckily, they recouped my compromised card and gave me a new one which I cashed out asap.

In New York and Miami, it costs dozens of these to pay for utilities annually but also mobile and electric take payment in any amount which is convenient when using up any odd residual amounts from larger purchases.

To the folks not sure what to spend these on real question. Do y'all not go grocery shopping and do those grocery stores not have their own giftcards you could convert it to in case you're worried about these being compromised (as you should be, I was nearly screwed out of $400 in Best Buy giftcards from giftcards.com about five years ago)?
