these dont work. i used to deliver mail on a rural route. wasps LOVE mailboxes. and they will sting several times. this stuff just made them mad. the best is the spectracide pro. comes in a white can, with black and red lettering. has twice the killing chemical this one does. dead almost on contact. btw, in our area, if stung, ice is the best immediate treatment.

heh, you beat me by 4 minutes. no need for these wasp sprays, soapy water grounds wasps and then suffocates them. if you need reach, put it in a kids super soaker

Rather, get the wasp spray that foams the nest. That way they don't go medievil on your ass when you spray them.

Are there any sprays that prevent them from nesting in spots to begin with? There are some willow trees behind our property and they get pretty awful in mid-summer. Would love to spray them with something that makes it less likely for them to nest there to begin with.

Saw on YouTube and thought I would pass along.....

1/4 gallon of apple juice mixed with 100% boric acid.

Guy left soda cans around his property with a STICK sticking out of the soda can.

The hornets 🐝 would climb down the stick and take the poison back to the hive.

He went from 1000s to zero.

Guys, i promise this works great- the soapy water knocks them straight down to the ground, i've done it many times. The soap lets the water soak into their "lungs", and they drown in a matter of seconds.

Use your head, of course, don't stand right in front of the nest, stand around a corner where those little dummies won't be able to figure out they're being attacked from

Totally agree. I live by an empty lot and this spray is perfect to pick a fight with. Spectracide knocks them down quick. I've used it against paper wasps, yellow jackets, and the like.

While on topic....
I use borax powder soap and sugar and mix together when I see an ant.

Little tiny black ones roll in by the slider and the sink......hundreds at times.

I put a small dollop of the mixture on a paper plate by the slider and on the granite of the sink and they bring it back and kill everything within a few days.

Does it work on muggers when out walking, and pesky door-to-door salesmen, though?
