My rule with SD is if it's not very obviously a great deal, move on. Prevents me from buying a bunch of stuff I don't need or falling for shill posts.

I've never even heard of the store let alone the sunglass brand. The only reasonable explanation is that Slickdeals is being paid to promote it. Keep that in mind when you see front page deals posted by staffers that leave you scratching your head. The front page hasn't meant much in the better part of a decade.

Yeah. The staff have become terrible now a days. They send warnings for stupid things but delete some important information in deals like a recent anker deal where they deleted (when they reposted it with edit) a 6ft option that was in OP.
And bunch of FP deals by staff with no comments but 10 TU. Shills!!

I hate the relentless commercialization of everything. Websites and apps used to be designed for the users, but now they're just designed to extract as much from them as possible.

Everyone should be using link sanitizers (ClearURL), ad blockers, and tracker blockers. Do not incentivize this kind of behavior.
