Sorry I have the 16 version of this that's on sale right now for $750. I think I need to make a return.
I bought two Grams recently. One looked slick with a hidden touchpad. It was impossible to use and was returned. The other was a Gram like this. I love it. I can use it all day without a power brick and I travel with it.

I also have a Lenovo Slim 9. I'm typing on it now. It is also very good. It is heavy, it has a big power brick and lasts about 3 hours on battery. It has a better GPU and screen. I love it. But I use it as a desktop replacement.

I don't regret either purchase. But, they each have a different purpose.

I got the same LG Gram Laptop 17" with the previous gen. i7 CPU and I'm super happy with it. It has been very reliable and incredibly lightweight, easy so carry to places.

Pros:
Incredibly lightweight
Perfect screen setup: 16:10 screen aspect ratio and 2560 x 1600 resolution, trust me you won't go back to 16:9 or 4k/8k battery-sucking screens after this
Great keyboard with good key travel
Good battery life

Cons:
Can feel a little flimsy because of the lightweight design
Not the top-performing CPU/GPU
The screen can be a little brighter at max
I have an 11th Gen i7 Gram and will be upgrading with one of the new Ultra 7 processor versions soon, but I mirror your feedback. Only thing I'd add is that the speakers aren't great either. All minor details, though, considering how portable this thing is with a big screen. I am on mine now and use it about 10 hours every weekday and occasionally on nights and weekends and it's held up great after 3 years.

I gave up on LG phones 5 years ago; I'm very suspect that if they can't manage phones properly that their laptops are lackluster as well. Anyone have anything good to say about this? Seems overpriced from a quick glance at the features...

I'm sorry, "get rid of the number pad?" What are you, some sort of freak?!? 10 key is a *feature* not a bug ya numbskull! Go on, get out of here: some of us have *work* to do on our laptops: if you're looking for a gaming machine, you should be over in the desktop section anyway... 😄

You're paying for the lightness of the machine. The gram's were noticeably lighter than their competition at the instore display the other day.

They just slashed the price of this to clear it out. No question. They have a new OLED model thats on sale for $1400. For what it does it is very good. Its not meant as some crazy high performance machine. Its a lightweight large screen for work like spreadsheets etc where a large screen can be beneficial.

Got one of the convertible 16" Grams from Costco a model or two back last year. You can't turn off secure boot, which means you can't install another OS or run a bootable USB like Clonezilla. Pretty annoying. Wish I'd figured that out sooner.

it's OOS now, but i got this for $750 and I was surprised by how good it is. I am running Fedora 40, run some light games, and otherwise am pleasantly surprised by how good it is. Battery life is amazing for light activites.

oos now of course, but yes - for non-gaming use it would be solid for 4 years. Even for gaming, they could do xcloud or another cloud-based streaming gaming option.

Search for "LG Gram" at costco.com and you'll see other options still.

Sorry folks, very first post, and seeking advice and some help.

Just got a Display piece for $400, was wondering if this is an okay deal for it? Also, any pointers to what all checks need to be run, please, to confirm everything is in okay state.

A ton of thanks in advance to those who can help.
