If it's made by midea, I definitely don't recommend them. This means all bosch and thermador products, bertazonni products, and Samsung dishwashers are off the list immediately. Also, midea doesn't replace evaps or compressors, so you have a sealed system failure. They're replacing it. Plan on that happening sooner than later.
My last KitchenAid fridge only lasted 7 years. One made in China can't be any worse than that.

Besides, Midea is a huge multinational company that supplies AC and refrigeration parts for lots of familiar names. I haven't seen one of their fridges but I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss it.

Good price.
Midea appliances are excellent and they supply parts to.many well known brands. I cannot speak to the fridge but A/Cs and Freezer are awesome

Brand seems reliable, I have a few window air conditioners and dehumidifiers - all going strong.
Refrigerator product - not sure…

The measurement doesn't seem like counter depth

Chest freezer, A/C's and Dehumidifiers have been gold. Curious about the fridge from a current owner??

I think this is similar to one I got from Ikea 2 years ago for $3200. Crazy, I know, it was post Covid and we needed a kitchen.
Mine has ice maker and water filter that seems to be the only difference.
Works just fine, however I would not get counter depth.

Tyler Perry is a marketing guru, but I hadn't realized that he'd expanded into home appliances. Its just a shame that Madea has been in so many terrible movies

I would wait for a better discount. Couple hundred bucks off vs 1000 off at this same price point. However. For French doors. This is pretty cheap. Been in the market for awhile. Only thing thing I don't like is there is no water dispenser

Midea owner here. Had it for 1.5 years and purchased it from military exchange website for 800. It's been a really great fridge and can't complain. We had a 10 year old KitchenAid French door without water on the outside of the door and the compressor failed. Replaced it with this midea because of the price and it's been great. You'll need to get your own filter for the waterline ice maker. Ice maker tray is small but enough for a family of 5. If you have anything specific question about this fridge, let me know.

This has an ice maker inside, which is a good design compared to others with built-in ice makers on the fridge door that are likely to break shortly.
