Almost the same price as standard SM58-LC without a switch. This legendary microphone is rarely discounted, this is the lowest price in recent 12 months. Remember to choose "sold by Amazon", there are tons of fake SM58 everywhere.

Several places look to have them on sale now. Musician's friend is $94 but you can get 8% back (and may be able to get a discount by calling in). B&H has it for $94 as well with a 10% money back deal which takes it below this price.

If you don't need the switch the original is $89 at musician's friend, you get 8% back, and you can try getting a discount by calling in or chatting.

Which retailer is better? I am thinking buying a mixer, microphone and spearkers for family Karaok.
Thanks!

This or the wireless version which is much more expensive though.

I just built a home karaoke. That is why I found this deal.

I am using Yamaha MG06X mixer, but if let me choose again, I may choose Yamaha MG10XU. I am using my 5.1 home ceiling theater system for background music, but add two bookshelf speakers just for vocal. I do not want to blow my 5 ceiling speakers which are not designed for karaoke.

Cheap wireless solutions do not have good results. Shure and Sennheiser expensive digital UHF wireless solution works, but remember to buy from reputable dealers, there are lots of fake wireless receiver and microphones.

I choose wired solution which is cheaper, and also has the better result even compare to the best wireless solutions.

MF gnereally has a pretty good return policy, but not as good as amazon. With B&H I had to do two returns - one was damaged (no problems) and one was because I made a mistake in an order (had to pay a restocking fee).

If you are not sure what you want, stick with amazon for their ease of returns. It's worth it if the difference is just a few bucks.

But following up your other post, places like Musician's friend will often have bundles where you can get things like mics and even mic stands included for a pretty good price.

If you're doing karaoke you probably should stick the the one with the switch because you will get people who don't know how to work a mic and position themselves and the switch is a quick feedback killer when people start to panic.

Shure is pushing a new 300 dollar mic so this is not surprising. Probably not that much better than this though

What new Shure mic is that? The SM58 has been around forever and is probably the most well regarded "entry level" dynamic mic in history.

This style of mic demands a matching chrome gooseneck stand lol. Kinda reminds me of the ones they used to have at burger king.
