No joke, I bought this 4 years ago thinking that my daughter might like it in the future. It is now her favorite game, and it's a blast that we get to enjoy that together.

This is the full bedrock version. It's exactly the same with all the features as windows, xbox, and playstation version but with worse graphics. It also has cross-play with people on these devices.

You can connect a controller to it and play. It's the Bedrock version so it's cross play compatible with Bedrock on Windows 10/11, Android, Xbox, PS, Switch, Fire tablet and Chromebook.

Weird... I went to buy this for $2, but I was able to get it for free. Is it possible that Minecraft used to be a free app years ago?

I guaratee I've never paid for this game before. I almost never buy anything in the App store, maybe once every 2 years... so if I did buy something I remember it. However I downloaded a lot of free games in the past and I don't remember them all.
