I purchased $100 and only received one $10 gift card by email immediately. I guess you have to do $50 increments

I added 1 $50 gift card then on the next page there is an option to add more gift cards. I added a second $50 gift card. In my cart, it showed 2x$50 gift cards. Checked out and got two separate $10 gift cards emailed to me.

Can I buy a single $500 gift card and receive the $100 bonus? Or do I need to buy gift cards in $50 increments?

IMO not a scam. Also got the email from IKEA.

It's not the best discount at 16.7%. If I remember correctly, the 20% discount only appears towards the end of the year.

Did this deal in the past; got a $500 gift card and 10 $10 giftcards, all via individual emails, which makes it a little difficult to track.
When it comes time to use the cards, while you can't merge cards together, you can redeem multiple cards in a single transaction (at least in store).

I'm not sure if there's a limit on the number of gift cards you can use in a transaction in the store, but I'm pretty sure I've used at least 10 before… after those are applied, you can use a credit card, etc. for the remaining balance.

I received the $10 card within a couple of mins. The $50 takes a bit longer to arrive in your inbox.

Last I tried, their website limited it to 4 gift cards involved in a single cart's worth of transaction.

To sidestep this and use more gift cards in one transaction I had to go to a register at a brick & mortar location in-person, where the employee there scanning coupons encountered no such limit (but unlike another poster here claims in a comment, I had not tried using >10 at a time, so I can't speak on that).
