Also, I'm legit impressed at OP's mention of tipping a buck or two for a pickup order. (maybe that's required as part of the outback online ordering experience?)
i can deal with the 11.99 price tag but the well done is the deal killer.
And for those who might find offense at this tactic, the bible verse reference i write at the top of the bill is worth far more than an actual buck, if taken to heart and used wisely.

Unfortunately, just recently, our So Cal price went up to $11.99 so now it's $2+tx. I have always been able to swap the fries with any side order (not premiums). They also removed the soft drink option on web ordering, but just put in notes to swap with soda.
If not med rare, please send a raw steak 🥩
