I didn't know Jesus advocated for kicking people in the teeth.
It is obviously an old testament verse.

I carry monopoly money for those situations... see, I use my hand to stuff a mostly-concealed monopoly bill in the tip jar as I'm being handed my bag of food... everybody happy.

And for those who might find offense at this tactic, the bible verse reference i write at the top of the bill is worth far more than an actual buck, if taken to heart and used wisely.
Well, I tip.

I had this Friday and it's ok for a child I guess. The steak was small. The potato was good though. They were out of orange juice. The bread was dry and hard. I won't be getting it again.

I'd rather buy New York Strip Steak, Prime Beef, 1 Per Tray, 0.4 - 0.93 lb [walmart.com] and cook it on cast iron pan at home. Super easy and better value. $17/lb
Dang that's pricey. Fresh meats are one of the few things I don't get from walmart. Harris Teeter puts one of their steak cuts on sale every week. This week it's New York Strip, for $9.99/lb. They alternate between that and ribeye, sirloin and t-bone. I feel like it is a bit better quality too. Maybe they cut it there in the meat section vs shipped pre-cut? Same situation for fish. Fresher and generally a better price.

Longhorn has better deal (6oz) and better steak in my opinion. Plus, you get to choose the temperature. I just had mine in Med rare with baked potato.

That's about how much meat weight shrinks once cooked, especially well done.

It's embarrassing how ignorant people are about basic information.

I just wished restaurants listed portion sizes more accurately. I try to do comparisons on nutrition values but sometimes stuff isn't listed or simply feels wrong.

An example being burgers almost anywhere, no concrete information on patty size. Chili's $11 burgers, some non official news states they're almost half pound. Denny's value burger for $9 says it's quarter pounder in the title, but their regular burger patties no information on size. Red Robin patty size also just ???

McDonald's nicely states for their quarter pounder *Weight before cooking 4 oz. However they also don't list patty size for other burgers such as big mac, cheeseburger etc. They seem to use the same patties for all those, and using the nutrition calculator? You can figure out that the smaller meat patties seem to be 1.6 ounces or perhaps 1.5 but with higher fat content in the meat.

Likely because a kid has no damn idea how they want their steak and if you allowed them to get say a rare steak they'd scream unless their parents taught them proper steak temps and flavors.

So much easier to just go "well done" and keep it moving

this is regular price in my area FL. For everyone's information I routinely get this at Longhorn steakhouse for the same price.
as you purchase one sirloin meal with broccoli and one burger with baked potato, add 20% and I think it comes out to like 23 -$24
