I picked up the Costco ones in store for $15.99 last month. Costco ones are also bigger (16 x 16).

These leave tiny fibers even after several washes, so I would not use them on glass. Fine for dusting or heavier cleaning jobs.

Too thin? I feel the opposite. Not sure what you're using them for but the thickness is more than sufficient for cleaning.

Na.. I wash my own car. Yes it's about the same cost but I get a much better cleaning… I go around all the door jams and under the hood and undercarriage… if you live in the salt belt it's the way to go because I can use soap designed to neutralize the salt.

Can you share the soap you use for salt? And how do you clean the undercarriage, using a wand and just rinse after?

A lot of the cheap microfiber will scratch clear plastic on dashboards. Try these out before you do a broad-brush cleaning with them.
