Beware! Visible lost my phone number on port in. They also refused to pay out my sign up incentive gift card. Their support is done exclusively through Facebook messenger and a different person replies to each message. If you ever get escalated to level 2, they will email you one time from a no-reply email and you will have to start over every time with level 1 to reply.

The service is fine if it's working, but if something goes wrong you're gonna have a bad time getting it resolved. Only port in if you're okay risking losing your phone number, or are okay wasting 10+ hours getting it back if it happens.

Where I live, Verizon service is amazing. My parents have it no issue. (visible uses verizon towers)a

I recently signed up in February 2024 for their regular plan at $20. And wow, you can barely websurf or Reddit with the throttled and deprioritized speeds. Streaming videos is painful with lots of buffering. Constantly have 4G service and not 5GLTE with Tellos or GoogleFi

But I rarely venture out and I'm usually at home with Wifi so I don't notice. Call quality leaves lots to be desired, lots of static sometimes. Other person can't hear me. and I get $5 off my fios bill and unlimited talk, text, and data. But the service isn't great and the customer service is literally non existent. Outsourced to some other country.

my experience trying to do a free trial has been nothing but nightmarish. And I agree on their site being down often. And their CSR is not aware of them nor really care. Price and apple watch bonus make so much sense for me so I wanted to try but the way things are, it is just so frustrating so I will remain on mint.

The $35/mo plan was the best. I heard it didnt throttle videos either. For that reason I'm never getting Visible just because I'll always feel skimped. I'm going with US Mobile's unlimited plan

I jumped onto visible as soon as they were available for iPhone. back when you could add 4 friends for a discount. If Verizon works well in your area, I say go for it. The lack of customer service (there's only an app) might be a deal breaker for older folks, but you can't beat the price. I have my watch too and now pay for the 5g uw for some reason, but that's still only like 40 bucks for unlimited everything including hotspot.

Had an issue with Visible where I lost all service for a few days and support was terrible at solving the problem. Took 8+ hours of constantly chatting. Use a carrier that actually has real customer service.

The Visible+ annual plan is actually cheaper than US Mobile's unlimited plan. It's about $33/month. Free apple watch plan, unlimited hotspot, and $10 home internet discount. Just these 3 perks almost paid for the plan itself.

Check out the US Mobile's reddit. There have been reports that they cut off your service if you go over the allocated premium data. It's not really unlimited as they claimed.

Added an account for my Mom last week, chose prepaid year on the lower plan combined with refer a friend discount and got plan price down to 255 a year. I later found another discount for 20$ that I received from them that i could have used. But not going to complain about unlimited service for 21.25 a month.
