I had reservations about relying on a vehicle to travel since I don't really care for driving in games like these, but the motorcycle felt natural and was quite fun actually.
Another thing I enjoyed is that instead of relying heavily on singular boss fights (there are a few challenging one on ones, don't get me wrong), the challenge of the game is more on dealing with hordes of zombies / groups of militia. The game did well in making the challenges feel more like a natural part of the world, instead of mini-game of boss fights in a locked room at the end of a level.
This plays more like an action zombie shooter instead of a survival zombie shooter - plenty of ammo and gunning down & blasting hordes, instead of heavily limited ammo and slow movements like Resident Evil.

I played it a few years ago and was definitely pleasantly surprised.

But then I saw there were mods out that basically cut down the number of fuel ups.
Downloaded that mod and been playing for 20 hours. Great game.
Had an occasional bug during the gameplay, but nothing too bad. Runs pretty well on steam deck OLED.
