Pair? Looks like it right until I go to checkout and then it's showing no "pair" in the description.

EDIT: I bought one. It is two 35 lb weights. 70 lbs total. awesome deal deal for rubber coated plates!

These would be my first set. I already have a bar. Should I get 2 x 2 x 35lbs? Or is it better to also get the $150 210-set from Walmart?

Walmart, for sure. You need some variety. Progressive overload means you want to add a little over time, which you can't do if your only option is to throw another 70lbs on.
