FWIW it's listed with the same description of the previous Signature Fitness 25 lbs bumper plate deal. I got that one and received two plates.

These would be my first set. I already have a bar. Should I get 2 x 2 x 35lbs? Or is it better to also get the $150 210-set from Walmart?
There is no progression when you jump 70lbs. That's a recipe for disaster. Get the variety.

Any recommendations for a barbell to use with these?
If you're planning to drop the bar doing power lifts, then I'd get something quality like Rogue.

If you'll just be doing basic lifts/compound lifts, then the basic bar from CAP is cheap and will do the job.

Depends how much you want to spend.

$1-150. Cap the beast or Ritfit . $200 bells of steel. $200-$250 rogue boneyard.

Above that it depends on if you want a weightlifting bar, powerlifting bar, crossfit type bar.

I would say it depends on what you are doing. if I was starting out with nothing I'd get two pairs of these along with the walmart set.

Yes but he has nothing but the bar, so 140lbs plus the bar isn't even starting weight on deadlift.

Well, let's hope they would come in pairs as described or my Mailman will not be happy with my return. Great deal as a pair.

WTH, ordered. Seldom use 35s but at this price I'll make it work.

BTW, recently ordered a set of CAP 45s at $40 each so wondering if it's worth retuning since I already have lots 10 lb. Olympic plates to add to make this 45. I can also pickup another set of these 35 bumpers so total costs will be the same. 🤔

Walmart price went back. I was thinking about it as well, but waited too long.
