If you're planning to drop the bar doing power lifts, then I'd get something quality like Rogue.

If you'll just be doing basic lifts/compound lifts, then the basic bar from CAP is cheap and will do the job.

$1-150. Cap the beast or Ritfit . $200 bells of steel. $200-$250 rogue boneyard.

Above that it depends on if you want a weightlifting bar, powerlifting bar, crossfit type bar.

I would say it depends on what you are doing. if I was starting out with nothing I'd get two pairs of these along with the walmart set.

Yes but he has nothing but the bar, so 140lbs plus the bar isn't even starting weight on deadlift.

WTH, ordered. Seldom use 35s but at this price I'll make it work.

BTW, recently ordered a set of CAP 45s at $40 each so wondering if it's worth retuning since I already have lots 10 lb. Olympic plates to add to make this 45. I can also pickup another set of these 35 bumpers so total costs will be the same. 🤔
