During the sale last year for the 8 ft bench someone recommended this set of 5" caster for $34 from amazon.

https://www.amazon.com/DICASAL-Ca...194&sr=8-1

It has a rating of 4.7 out of 450 reviews. It's red and matched the color on the red bench.

Also the pro-duty Line-X version is on sale as well today:Personally I'd choose the $169 workbench but then again I'm not a pro.

I got this exact one a few years ago at a similar price and it's been perfect for me and is good quality. I mainly use it for house projects. It's a solid surface at a good height.

I just need a basic bench to work on car parts and clean things. No vices or sawing or the like. Think this will work nicely.

Is this better than the similarly priced one from Harbor Freight? The one from HF doesn't feel deep enough

This is only 24".

72" W x 24" D x 38" H

The deal details should have dimensions in it imo.

Can someone explain how the model with the casters work ? In the photo it looks like the top is wall mounted to allow it to fold down flat, so if the top is wall mounted what's the point of having casters on an immobile table ?

The wheels allow the leg assemblies to swing out and provide support for the table, then swing back to get out of the way when you're not using it.

Thanks, makes sense . Thought it somehow detached from the wall to cart anywhere
