That is NOT their top of the line SUPER Sawzall. That is a FUEL Sawzall. Huge difference. FUEL Super Sawzall is a 2722-20. This is a GOOD deal, not GREAT, imo

Sorry, their names are all similar and I made a typo. But I think this is the newest generation whereas 2722 is previous generation. I've edited the post.

Yeah, it's a very solid tool, no doubt. The super sawzall is heavy AF. This one you posted in this deal is actually probably the better tool for most situations for the majority of people.

2722 is the CURRENT generation of FUEL Super Sawzall. Then one you posted is the current generation of FUEL Sawzall. They are completely different tools, not simply a different generation of the same tool

I did this deal for the super sawzall instead, the ocillating feature is just too good to pass up for a minor weight difference. If this was a HO battery and fast charger I can see taking it instead for a killer deal. I just dont need either, most wont either if all you have are many of milwaukee products in these deals.

I was $178 OTD on this deal, return the two other items.

Yes, I saw that deal for the M18 Fuel Super sawzall (2722) as well and I'm considering it. The problem for me is that I'm new to the battery platform, so I need a battery. The free gift in the Super sawzall deal is a 8 Ah HO battery + rapid charger.

But the M18 Fuel Super Sawzall (2722) + 8Ah HO battery + charger come out at $320 after returning the third item.

That compares to M18 Fuel Sawzall Gen 2 (2821) + 5 Ah non-HO battery + charger at $180 after returning the other item.

I'm not sure it makes sense to pay $140 more for the Super combo, which will be heavier, but better performance.

you can play around a bit more with the pricing. I got it down to 164 with the impact drive.

Almost picked up this deal the other day but saw the M18 Fuel Hackzall with a 2.0 and 5.0 battery for $20 more at HD. A lot of people like the hackzall better for the one handed operation and compact size.

Two completely different uses, I have the hackzall and it doesn't even compare for cutting power. The 2.0 is basically useless for these types, the 3.0HO is the min you need to start with for even minor jobs. If you have to do any wood or thick metal cutting the hackzall you are going to see pretty quickly how long its going to take to cut compared to this or the super sawzall

Its 8.8 to 6.8 but however you want to justify adding 4 more lbs by all means try and justify your negative comment back.
