As an owner of one, the only thing I'd caution is its bungee cords in the front can easily catch on things when going to places. I wouldn't mind buying another one though, but Recon would not have this issue.
While most school years are coming to an end, this would be great planning for the start of next school year.

While there I noticed North Face backpacks were very popular - with both hikers on trails and tourists around town. Maybe i should look into getting one.
