32 Liter version. I use it for carry on flights. Fits a lot for its size and is comfortable to carry. Just ordered another as a gift for a family member.

This is just a bit bigger technically to be a carry with its Dimensions: 23" x 14.7" x 10.2". Assume if not packed to the brim it "should" work. Carry on via TSA has a 2024 limit of 22 x 14 x 9 inches.

Ended up buying the 32L, missed it last time it went on sale at Urban Outfitters. FYI, Moosejaw is part of Dicks and I was able to use $10 in rewards!

I saw a review stating that the laptop compartment doesnt add much padding and makes it uncomfortable if you have a laptop, can anyone who has this comment on that?

Ugh im eyeing this as well, but Mini MLC seems like such a better put together bag,but it costs much higher...
I initially liked the MLC 30 but eventually ended up returning it. It does look good but the tomtoc duffel actually is better in terms of organization. I have used this TNF duffel as a checked luggage for an international long haul flight and it didn't disappoint

I'm torn between the 32 vs 42 as the carryon. In actuality, will anyone from the airline take out a tape measure to verify? I see people with their large hiking backpack on international trips and no one ever says anything. The 42 has more functionality for me but I do not want an argument at the airport.
i guess it depends on the airline. I recently flew delta and people were carrying on huge rolling luggage. Kind of annoying when the ones who don't follow the rules put their oversized luggage in the overhead bin leaving you no space

The budget airlines like Frontier and Spirit are very likely to check the size and international flights will likely check at least the weight. Duffel bags are at least flexible. You could just not fill it up all the way. If you can cram it into the bag size checker then you're good.

What is difference between this vs the other duffel bag with many sizes? This bag would be good for what purpose?

I was able to get it for the same price via Public Lands and use a $25 cash card they sent me that supposedly expired 2 days ago to make it $45.37 out the door. Thanks!

How'd you get the $25 cash card? I'm subscribed to their promotional emails

If 42L bag is packable to something very tiny and only ~2lbs, unless you packed the bag to the max, otherwise you can easily compact the item a bit to make it the size of a most if not all airline carry-on size.

Remember this is just a packable duffel bag that pretty much has not much padding so can compact the bag to whatever size you need as long as not fully packed.

My wife and I used this bag as a carry on for a trip to Italy. No problems. Was actually pretty comfortable to carry around for extended periods of time even packed to the brim. Very useful to not have to drag around a suitcase with wheels when a lot of the streets are cobblestone.
