Better than the REI Coop deal for the same bags!

32 Liter version. I use it for carry on flights. Fits a lot for its size and is comfortable to carry. Just ordered another as a gift for a family member.

This is just a bit bigger technically to be a carry with its Dimensions: 23" x 14.7" x 10.2". Assume if not packed to the brim it "should" work. Carry on via TSA has a 2024 limit of 22 x 14 x 9 inches.
Ended up buying the 32L, missed it last time it went on sale at Urban Outfitters. FYI, Moosejaw is part of Dicks and I was able to use $10 in rewards!

I was unable to get any credit card to work on the Moosejaw site, but I was just able to buy one at this price from publiclands.com, which is apparently also owned by Dicks Sporting Goods since it allows you to sign in with your Dicks membership.

Moosejaw and Publiclands are part of Dick's.
if you click on moosejaw's "chat", it will take you to Dicks chat.
But Dicks chat can't help resolve Moosejaw's authentication issues, need to call instead.

Both Moosejaw and Publiclands share the same online billing platform with Dicks, I think.
I have had authentication issues with both trying to buy the same exact item on their sites, but getting the same error. Then, eventually one of them will go through.

I just went to Dicks website and talked to customer support and they price matched the 42l in blue! I get it on wed!

I got the Patagonia Black Hole 40L and 55L and returned those for these in 32L, 42L, and 62L. The Black Hole is excellent, but I don't like how big it is wearing as a backpack. The base is so large it feels like wearing a giant bag as a backpack. I don't understand all the fanfare for the Black Hole. They're excellent duffel bags but not backpacks. I love these North Face Voyager. It holds its shape and looks like a backpack. It is surprisingly smaller than the volume indicates. The Black Hole looks huge compared to a comparable size Voyager. The quality and materials are excellent. I would compare the 42L and 32L to the Patagonia MLC and MLC mini. It doesn't have the organization or the vertical opening of the MLC, but for the price difference I would take that trade off.

I ordered the 32L and wondering if I should order the 42L too and compare them in person. Do you know if we can return a Moosejaw order at a B&M Dick's also?

Which one do reach for the most often? 32L or 42L?

If you're getting one bag the obvious answer is the 42L. It's slightly larger, but you can fit more things. It's suitable for plane, car, camping, edc, anything. I got the 32L mainly for my son because I don't want him to carry too much. Although if you're a minimalist then a 32L would be plenty.

how is it better than rei deal? same price there. also this is a small size. i only buy XXL or XL duffle bag for my international travel and domestic travel.

It's better because it's the larger bag that you fit in to get shipped away from slickdeals

I ordered three of the 32L and one 42L on multiple orders. So far, two of the 32L and the 42L have all gotten tracking numbers. My last order is preparing for shipment. Looks to be working just fine as long as the billing address for your credit card matches your shipping address, according to customer service chat.

No you are mistaken. I bought two for me and my gf from the urban outfitters deal. They were the 32L Voyager duffels. Exactly like these. I'm surprised these are still available considering that urban outfitters deal seemed to sell out in hours. I went back to buy one as a gift for a family member and they were sold out. So I bought another from this deal. This is the 32l version of the 42l posted.

Haha whoops you're right. I got it confused with the REI deal posted

Received the 42L yesterday. Definitely fine for a carry-on. Smaller than I expected, given people concerned about it counting as a carry-on. My hard sided carry-on is about the same size.

This has a lot of pockets and nets. The quality seems good, although I would have liked it a bit thicker so it held its shape a bit better when it isn't stuffed full

I'm torn between the 32 vs 42 as the carryon. In actuality, will anyone from the airline take out a tape measure to verify? I see people with their large hiking backpack on international trips and no one ever says anything. The 42 has more functionality for me but I do not want an argument at the airport.

I've regularly flown with a 55L Osprey pack on airlines that are known to be strict with their carry on guidelines and have never had a problem. I think that most airlines will have a beef if your pack is "bulky" as opposed to big if that makes sense.
