Buy this. Ukulele is a great thing to learn, but if you want to play guitar, uke won't teach you guitar. It's equivalent to the four highest strings on guitar from the fifth fret up (with one of the strings pitched up an octave). Cool instrument and pretty portable. Learning to press the frets is similar, but I would get this and start building up some calluses and learning full chords shapes that cover 6 strings (you'll see the uke shapes in some of them).
