Just a warning. There's a hardware defect in some of these that cause an incredible high pitched feedback loop when using noise canceling. It's loud enough to cause hearing damage. I am reluctant to try my luck with another pair.

There is also an issue a number of people have had (myself included) where they eventually just fall apart due to the hinge on the cups being weak.

Just a warning. There's a hardware defect in some of these that cause an incredible high pitched feedback loop when using noise canceling. It's loud enough to cause hearing damage. I am reluctant to try my luck with another pair.

I'm pretty sure Bose sleep buds gave me tinnitus. Is the frequency so high on the Sonys you don't hear it? Yikes

Same with the beats pro I've noticed. I normally turn on and off the anc and that normally does it

That's a feature. Cancels all noise. Even when you aren't wearing them.
