Pumpkin spice means the spices used in pumpkin pie, not the actual pumpkin. Some products do this well and it's pretty good, while others do not and it is not. Very few reviews on Amazon, would love to hear some opinions on the taste of these since protein shakes are already hit or miss even with more traditional flavors like vanilla

To my knowledge, some protein drinks are actually classified under dairy products and thus are not subject to the tax. It's probably whether they call themselves protein beverages.

I guess the workaround is to only get protein bars since they're food and not supplements.
