Beware this knife leads down a rabbit hole of knife collecting. It's an amazing knife and was the first really impressive knife I owned that lead to buying a bunch more.

No brainer at this price. I have 2 of these and they've been great. They hold a good edge and the ergonomics of them is fantastic for me.

Great deal on a great knife. Good to see the prices come back to pre pandemic levels. I just bought 2 as I have donated a couple to TSA in the past few years. Thanks OP.

*Last purchased in 2018 for $23.99" 😂 😢😭. It got stolen.... About time to replace, still not happy with their prices compared to competition from Kizer, Civivi, CJRB, Costed, Miguron, etc. But prob still cheapest made in USA knife you can get though at $40.

You're probably seeing the meme knives - their normal Kalashnikov autos are the best

The Leek is nice for the price, I own a few.
With the flipper tab it opens as quick as an auto.

I much prefer Spyderco, but they are a bit more expensive if you want the good steel. They do have some budget clearance knives at the moment that compare to this one's quality, size and price range, but if you want something that really holds the edge and will last 20 years, you'd have to spend more.

I carry a Spyderco Salt made with H2 steel and I love the pocket clip and easy one hand opening. I prefer a serrated blade as I cut through a lot of zip ties and heavy plastic packaging. It makes quick work of anything like that and the H2 steel holds the edge a long time. It's a workhorse of a knife and living near salt water, it won't ever corrode. I think I paid $85 but I plan to get 12-15 years out of it, so not bad. It would last much longer with casual use, but I use it daily on the job, whereas most people probably only use their pocket knife a couple times a week. I'm using mine about every 10 minutes.

Automatic conversion knives are retrofitted by a third party to accept a coil spring. The factory warranty on these knives is void, but we do have a warranty for the conversion/spring of these knives for one (1) year from date of purchase.
