Please stay away from the Mirai. The hydrogen/H2 fuel costs $36/kg. The $15K fuel card they will give is good for 25K miles. It'll cost ~$180 to fill up, which is good for ~300 miles. I'm part of a telegram group of Mirai owners. Many there cannot get near to 400 miles advertised range, no matter how hard they try. People in SolCal have to deal with unreliable H2 stations. People in SF just had their only 3 local stations closed permanently.

I bought a 2023. I really enjoy it. We have the mid level SE and bought at invoice. The big selling point for us was the 3rd row seating (this is the cheapest new 3rd row in the market). We have. 2 kids and we're tired of having to take 2 cars anywhere when someone visited from out of town. You will not put adults in the third row.

As to power. I was initially concerned about the low HP but it is fine. No problems getting on the highway or passing in the highway. You definitely notice though if you load the car up (see third row) and need to adjust your driving.

We have fabric seats and they are great and our trim has leather trim which is nice. We got the package that includes 360 camera and adaptive cruise control and larger center screen and was well worth the extra spend.

The only concern I have about owning this car is the dealership experience. I wanted to put a hitch on it and dealership recommended we go to a 3rd party installer. We needed and extra key made and again they recommended we go to an outside lock smith. The locksmith was able to tell me that the previous year they kept frying computers when doing work that included electronics and lost a lot of money in the process. I do not plan on owning this past the electronic warranty date for that reason.

Edited to add: get the red one if you get one. It's really nice (like the Mazda red) and makes it look a more premium vehicle than it is.

How come you hate Nissan ? Please explain.

Idk why he'd have a problem with Nissan's engines; they're fine. The transmission is a CVT, which used to be more of a problem than it is now. You couldn't count on the first couple generations of CVTs to last much more than 100k miles. That hasn't been the case for a while now, though. They're much more durable.

Be beware, the transmission is a Nissan CVT. As a car guy, I know Nissan CVTs do not have a good rep and they are very unreliable, I've seen instances of their transmissions blowing up after 100K miles. They have fixed some issues but it's still something to note.

Combined MPG in the 20s? In 2024?

I'm out. Really wish something like a hybrid CR-V or RAV4 would get a financing deal like this, but I understand why they don't.

It may be irrelevant here, but need to vent. I first time rented EV, Chevrolet Bolt 2023 with 18k miles only and have been extremely disappointed with the use of its electric juice. Basically, be prepared to charge it everyday and finding a charging station is in itself challenging even if you are forgiving on 1+ hour of wasted time it to be charged just to 80%. If you use heat, and soon AC, then may God be with you because you will be running to charging station every half day and will cost a lot more than gas.

With that said, if anyone knows hybrid used car they recommend for heavy work use, list here your opinion and experience
Thank you for this experience. It really helped to inform me about this Mitsubishi.

"Mitsubishi T"? Umm, ok. Not sure why you think that is so funny.

You bought the slowest charging car on the market. Would be fine if you had overnight level 2, but I agree its horrid for using public charging. Also I hate bolts taking up my 350w 'pumps.'

WOW so surprising. I love the poorly educated on electric cars. Assuming you drive 200+ miles a day and if that is the case, you would have never accepted a bolt.... Or you are are just being dramatic.

The bolt is a super cheap (you feel it inside) commuter vehicle that gets the job done for the price. I drove one for 2 years and traded it in for the price I paid so cannot complain. If you do spend all day driving in a vehicle, electric is honestly not the route for you. Sometimes you are sent places where chargers are not developed yet. You do not want to use anything less than 150 Kwh chargers.

For 95% (probably more) of people, an electric car will work. Charge it overnight at your house, not problem getting 80% juice. For a road trip along major interstates, superchargers are plentiful.

Regardless, not relevant at all for this deal. I really thought Mitsubishi went under but seems like you are getting decent bang for your buck. I am sure less reliable and bad resale value but good option for some.

The Fed can't reduce interest rates because it's less profitable for its share holders, so you'll see the market react with "deals"like this when no one can afford anything and credit is unreachable at current limits.

FWIW Outlanders have had the biggest targeting of catalytic converter theft and they are extremely expensive to replace with oem.
If you don't park only outdoors I wouldn't consider this car.

Why? We had a 1993 Maxima that lasted about 20 years. The power windows did fail on it though.
