I was considering one for my wife before pandemic because of crazy manufacturer incentives, it was a really cheap car. Now, it's not worth it at all.
The largest percentage of inflation is due to the housing market and car insurance, fwiw. If housing prices don't come down, everything else will have to increase, no getting around that.
