NS-ZCC10 is worth the price premium IMO. Mine is over 10 years old with weekly usage and still works like day one, aside from the dead clock battery. Perfect rice every time.

The Amazon Product Information Page lists country of origin as China.

Anyone know the difference between this one (NS-WTC10) and the neuro fuzzy (NS-ZCC10)?

Our $15 Salton rice cooker seems to make excellent rice. What so great about the Zojirushi? What does "fuzzy logic" mean and how does it improve the rice?

ZCC10 is made in Japan.
*According to the zojirushi customer service rep,
Neuro fuzzy has a slight edge in heat/temperature reading/adjustment over Micom. Also said that the WTC10 is discontinued.

It's usually more tender consistently, not a must have upgrade but if you love rice go for it.

They also moved manufacturing to china and I have heard the product it worse but still good.

Our fuzzy logic, which we have had for over 5 years, keeps rice warm, fluffy, and good for a solid 48 hours. It is still edible even after that. The convenience is the main thing for us. It also can cook a variety of different rice.

I replied with which is the better product, not better value or more affordable. Up to you to decide if its worth it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ . If people want to nab this cheaper version let them, no harm in letting them know what options exist. There is a reason why different SKUs of the neuro fuzzy models exist. Would I argue that this more affordable model is a good value for a zojiroshi? Yeah I would. At the same time, at these prices, spending a bit more for BIFL is reasonable too. Happy deal hunting
