bought 5 of the Van Camps pork and beans a few months ago and they were lousy, hopefully Campbell's is better.

I've always loved the green cans of Heinz beans from England. Somehow they taste way better than the canned beans we have here... now hungry for a full English lol

The English Heinz tastes better because it's made with better ingredients. This garbage has High Fructose Corn Syrup - the English stuff has way less sugar added and it's actual sugar, not obesity syrup.

baked beans are just different in the UK, even if you're making them from scratch with good ingredients. they're less sweet, more savory and tomato-y. the sauce is also thinner
