Good tool. I have had a lot of trouble with the dust bin though and switching between the bin and a shop vac. Has made cleanup a problem.

I have a lot of battery powered Milwaukee tools and the sander is just 'meh' for me. I feel that can be said for a lot of battery-powered orbitals. It can do some of the basic sanding stuff but if you're doing a big project you're probably going to be adding +1/+2 hours of just sanding work what you would normally do versus using a corded orbital sander.

Other than that it feels nice in the hand and the dust collection is pretty good. pretty good deal if you're just trying to get the batteries and have the orbital for quick jobs.

I bought this sander when it first came out several years ago…. It's not a great random or orbit sander. If you own the 10" miter saw the bag from the saw will work better on the sander for dust collection than the box included with this sander . I am a huge Milwaukee guy but I'd say this sander is not worth the time , there's plenty of better sanders on the market!

This is a "brushed" tool FYI. Milwaukee doesn't make a brushless "fuel" version of this tool.

Great sander, good balance with a 3Ah but top heavy with a 5. I use this for short sessions hooked to a shop vac or fuel vacuum.

This is a good deal for this item, but the item itself is not good.

One of the worst sanders I've had. Especially with these batteries, it's super heavy and won't last long at the highest setting.

Is this deal hackable? Can I return the sander and end up with the batteries?
