Came looking for a dishwasher and saw this posting. Reason I'm looking for one, this same exact model that I bought for the same exact price ~5 years ago died.

FWIW Bosch seem to be the gold standard for reliability yet my Bosch is what I'm replacing with this unit, from my research on Reddit, lg seems to be solid and with the manufacturers+costco+CC warranty I'm not sure what would be a better alternative.
Update… Received and installed yesterday, washes beautifully, a little faster than my old Bosch, but a little noisier. Trays are well organized and spacious for a standard unit
Urgh... I may have to get this. My Maytag died about 5 years ago. I replaced that a pretty decent KitchenAid and now that's about to die too. I'm really hoping this lasts more than 5 years...
Stay away from LG. My LG dishwasher's brushless motor died in 3 years, which is supposed to have 10 year warranty. I called LG, they said labor cost is 350$.

Citi has stopped CC warranty.

I'm here looking for a dishwasher because I'm done throwing money at my GE for repairs. Did you end up finding a good deal on anything?

Nope, they're all the same crap. They're designed to last a few years and fail just outside warranty. Honestly, I just wanted a stainless steel interior dishwasher with a 3rd rack and just went with the one above. Overall it's still a great dishwasher outside of its longevity. It cleans really well, doesn't build up an odor and plenty of space. I've had horrible luck with Samsung appliances (washer/dryer both died within 3 years) and haven't heard any raving reviews on other brands.

Thank you for your reply, sadly I have come to the same conclusion. It seems like the same dishwashers are always on sale. Is it really a sale price when it's always on sale?
The Bosch that's everyone recommends is out of my price range. I'm not going near Samsung or GE. My LG washer and dryer are great so I was hoping they'd make great dishwashers too. Idk what it is about dishwashers lol.

FWIW this one that I bought is fantastic better than my Bosch in every aspect but of course it's still new. I think with dishwashers the vast majority of people don't clean filters and pumps enough if at all and don't clean the nozzles etc. now that everything is "over engineered" it needs to be kept up to factory spec to function properly and that requires doing the maintenance and watching it. Very few things are built like a hilux anymore sadly
