I've had this camera for a couple of weeks now. A couple small gripes:
-There have been times when it completely missed someone walking through the motion detection area.
-There's no way to set continuous recording on this camera, so you are limited to whatever clip the camera recorded. Oftentimes, these clips start later than I'd wish and don't capture the full period I desire.
-It records clips all throughout the night, whereas it doesn't do this during the day. Not really sure why, but it sort of defeats the purpose of night recordings if I have to thumb through 50 recordings to see if anything of interest was recorded.
Otherwise, the picture clarity is nice and it's pretty cool seeing it follow people around as they walk by.
I own this camera, but I still don't understand why some people continue to complain about solar powered cameras do not record continuously. Why is this an expectation?

Agreed - I have one of these and bought 2 more. I have had the 1st one for about 6 months. They are great cameras to watch areas that are inaccessible with wires.
There are some adjustments in the app that you can change to increase the sensitivity which helps with the late recording.

I'm ok with no continuous recording. I'm not OK with the late and missed recordings. It doesn't happen all the time but enough to be a concern.
I have this from last TiktTok shop deal during Thanksgiving/Christmas. Love it. I would buy couple of more if I can get similar price, I believe it was around $125 to $130 including tax.

Same here but I got it for around $110. Really wish I bought more at that price but I don't see TikTok doing those kind of discounts anymore.

Love this camera. Stays powered up with just normal daytime light. Can alter settings to avoid birds and squirrels setting off the alarm. Should pair with the home base and an old hard drive. No fees and almost unlimited recording.

If they offered this camera hardwired, I would've preferred that. Alas, they do not.
I am planning to replace my Arlo cameras with these. Would they still charge sufficiently if I have them installed underneath the eaves of my roof as I currently have with the Arlo. My Arlo cameras are currently powered by solar panels placed on the side of my roof with the cameras underneath the eaves to protect against weather.
