Prices went up significantly compared to 11/2023 but $139.99 is way too much. $114 for Acer predator is more accessible.

Microcenter had them on sale/clearance for $120 in jan. The sales person mentioned WD is discontinuing these SSDs and was discouraging to buy these.

Was $114 yesterday when I purchased it, they'll probably have it on sale again soon.

$50 per TB is where these things belong.... Paying more just because the world artificially jacked up the price is NOT a good deal folks!

Say that to my $40 breakfast for 3 at McDonalds. Oh yeah, CA just enacted $20 living wage for fast food employees. Not artificially jacked up...

Just to be crystal clear here, "ALL" prices are artificial since all currency is artificial. Ever since that horrible day when the gold standard was abolished and fiat currency reigned supreme, it's all been artificial make-believ la-la-land! The good news is, you are the solution to your own problem.

I will not dive down this whirlpool, but standing at the surface looking down, the solution is pretty simple..... Just refuse to pay the price! If it's too dark, turn a light on, if too bright, turn the light off. You control the market, you tell the market what it can charge for a thing. Don't like the price? Don't pay the price! You, me, we, control the market. My wallet is Fort Knox until these things hit $50 per TB,,,, again!

Atta boy! Take a stand.... Even if there isn't enough gold to go around, which is why we have fiat bucks..

Now try that at the grocery store..... Let me know how it goes.... Personally I like to eat...

We have some people in D.C. to thank for most of the current damage to the pricing of things....

Well, I can let you know how it's going, currently. I grow my own food, a lot of it at least, I set the price when I sell it. You pay my price or you don't! See how easy that is? Honestly, it's going quite well for me. But then, I don't make mountains out of ant hills.
