Please expound on your concerns? Been happy with my reolink doorbell. They are the only company that makes a PoE wired/wireless doorbell with no subscription and RTSP support.

No, it's a solid security camera company with zero monthly fees. I've had my reolink ip cam system for 5 years with no complaints. Great resolution, local network video recorder with upgradable storage and tons of customization. They keep updating the controller software every year so new capabilities.

I currently have quite a few Wyze cameras but I do need to add a few battery powered cameras. How does this compare to wyze. and I thought about switching away from wyze as it's not always reliable and the image quality isn't great. I have a lot of v2 cams a couple v3s. and 2 OG cams. they seem to work best for close range surveillance. but even then not too great. I have been looking for something different.

I'd like to have a central back up storage but then I'd need to make sure I have power. I'd like battery cams with solar so in event of power outage things still work.

I have a Reolink NVR, it works perfectly with it. Not sure about a homemade NAS.

They don't, at least not currently, but there's a chance they will with a future upgrade, however, that depends if they bother updating the firmware on their previously released Argus cameras… Still a great deal, if you don't mind using their app.

I use one at my business with a Reolink NVR, works perfectly. I have POE cameras attached directly, and this camera is in my parking lot. Intergrates with no issues.

This package comes with a solar panel. The solar panel connects to the camera via the USB-C port. I have no issues with the solar panel keeping the camera charged year round. If you have a power outlet nearby, you can simply use a power brick and USB cable to power the camera.

I have the same camera at home, with no NVR, and the option is there. Do you have this device, or an older one? Maybe its not available on your device. When you get to the Schedule page, you dont see two tabs? One says Timer?

This camera doesn't do continuous recording. As far as I know there isn't a solar powered security camera on the market today that offers continuous recording. Continuous recording means video is written/saved 24x7 somewhere, whether sd card locally or nvr, and can be scrubbed back in time to any point in time. It seems this is being confused with 24x7 motion capture which just records 10s-120s video clips after motion is detected. Which can miss crucial details in a security incident.
