I like Reolink. Have had them for 8 years.
Please expound on your concerns? Been happy with my reolink doorbell. They are the only company that makes a PoE wired/wireless doorbell with no subscription and RTSP support.
No, it's a solid security camera company with zero monthly fees. I've had my reolink ip cam system for 5 years with no complaints. Great resolution, local network video recorder with upgradable storage and tons of customization. They keep updating the controller software every year so new capabilities.

Not true, you just need to insert an SD card into the camera. I currently use it in continuous recording, it overwrites about every 4 days.

I think he was talking about a matter of battery life not storage space.

This camera doesn't do continuous recording. As far as I know there isn't a solar powered security camera on the market today that offers continuous recording. Continuous recording means video is written/saved 24x7 somewhere, whether sd card locally or nvr, and can be scrubbed back in time to any point in time. It seems this is being confused with 24x7 motion capture which just records 10s-120s video clips after motion is detected. Which can miss crucial details in a security incident.

I added a large microSD, and set it for continuous recording. It keeps roughly 4 days worth of footage, and overwrites the older footage. If you want to keep footage longer, you can get use an NVR, or set up an FTP program to retrieve the footage daily to a backup server.

Or you can use frigate or scrypted or etc

Can the recordings be accessed remotely? What I mean is - If I am at work (different network) can I see the recordings?

Please let me know where the setting is on the app to enable continuous recording. I have only seen the option to record on trigger.

I dont believe this will work with a NAS and there is no ONVIF support.

I cannot get it to work with Asustor NAS. I tried ONVIF and IP etc…nothing works and of course I cannot find any references to assist in my searches.

Anyone been able to get REOLINK to work specifically with Asustor?

I tried using the generic instructions but it didn't work.

Reolink non-battery powered cameras (PoE and wireless) support ONVIF and should work with any ONVIF compliant NVR (or NAS with NVR features)

This deal is about a battery powered camera. I own several PoE/Wireless Reolink cameras but not any battery-powered ones - so take what I am about to say with a grain of salt : A battery powered camera cannot support 24x7 ONVIF polling, that would be too much of a drain on the battery.

Would love for someone to say that I'm wrong but I've never run across any battery powered security cameras that support ONVIF for that reason.

https://support.reolink.com/hc/en...-Software/

Honestly surprised that the camera supports 24x7 recording to the SDCard as troyh72 has stated is possible for the same reason.

Edit: This Reolink article suggests it cannot do continuous recording, only recording when motion is detected. Maybe something has changed since 2022 though : https://community.reolink.com/top...ous-record

I believe you are correct. No battery powered security camera would support continuous recording.

My camera did not come with the 128gb memory card. Did anyone get theirs?

Holy cow thank you didn't know they made that!

Love my cameras though. Only had one issue and they sent me a new camera no problem.
