Sam's club $4.87 for 600 tablets for store brand of the exact same thing. Costco is similar.
My Doctor also says to take the 2nd generation allergy meds ( claritin/zyrtec/allegra) instead of Benadryl...

Oh, and as others are pointing out, this isn't the same as Sudafed. And "can't be turned in to meth" Sudafed is a sorry excuse as a replacement of real deal Sudafed.
The real fun is taking 5+ of them, fighting through the "sleep" part and visiting the shadow people on the "other side". EEK!

Pharmacist here. If you need that much of it, I would advise to consider a selective antihistamine such as loratadine. Desloratadine is the best as it's least likely to interact with other medications. The risks of diphenhydramine are well documented (dementia related effects, dry mouth/eyes, excess sedation and more), I recommend to stay away, especially for regular use.

Many recommend second gen meds, such as zyrtec or allegra
Zyrtek and Allegra cost 6-10 times as much as Diphenhydramine.

Diphenhydramine have been linked to increase risk of dementia.. while second gen allergy meds have been shown to be more effective and safe than Diphenhydramine.

Also I was able to get a 365 tab bottle of zyrtec for $15 at Costco [costco.com]. That's 4cent/pill

I'd recommend doing a little research and make an educated decision. There has been new research that this medicine has been linked to dementia later in life. Other allergy medicines may be safer.
