OP, revise the coupon to be $20 off. Excellent deal, and the cheapest filler I could find was 1.29 electrical tape - https://www.northerntool.com/prod...02-5849311
FYI- It looks to me like both this version and the Costco one have the availability to adjust drop down height. 23"-37" for this version would still be a little too much drop (not to rub salt in the wound 😜). Nothing a chop saw won't cure though!

This is 1/4 of the size of one of the Costco safe racks (usually sold as a two pack, 4x8feet). These also don't have the option of a different drop down range.

Good deal if it works for your application. I was considering it for the side of my garage by my ceiling is too low for a 2 foot drop (max out at 18 inches).

Was gonna say the same thing about the saw,... Or get a ten dollar grinder with cut off wheel from harbor freight

Hmm five shipped is 106 plus tax and 75 shipping or just get membership for 40 with free shipping... So 146 including membership.... Thoughts on this deal relative to past ones? Anyone?

Thank you, yeah I noticed the 2" side was pretty small. How much are those at Costco? Do they ever go on sale?

edit: looks like $260, but it looks like you only get 1. Unless I'm missing something

Currently on sale for $270 for a two pack. They go on sale fairly frequently to about the same price.

Thank you. So very comparable to this price. If you need the large size this would be the way to go for sure

Is there any reason you couldn't use this off a pitched roof? I don't see why not. Manual doesn't appear to say though. Each leg is only hanging by a single bolt so should fall wherever gravity tells it to.

*note it would be used along the center of a garage (top of the "A" running down the ridge) so both sides would be level to each other, just the bracket would be running down the pitch, not parallel to the floor.

Someone asked the question on the Gladiator website [gladiatorgarageworks.com] and they responded with: "It is possible to install it on a sloped/slanted ceiling. However, due to the upper and lower adjusting supports, the shelf itself may not be leveled."
